First Steps in French (pre-schoolers)
First Steps in French is an opportunity for Under 5's and their parents to discover the sounds of a new language through a variety of familiar activities with a native speaker.
The fun of joining in with stories, songs, games and original crafting activities, coupled with parental involvement, creates a relaxed environment where the emphasis is on fun rather than learning by rote. As an experience that is shared with accompanying adults, it can be re-lived and discussed at home, thus creating new avenues for play, learning and development.
One of the highlights of each class is the craft activity; children and their parents/carers work together to create a visual reminder of a French word: colouring, sticking, constructing...Artwork can then be displayed at home and talked about, a fun way of remembering French words from week to week.
Sharing this time with parents/carers means that activities and games in French can be reproduced at home...learning becomes easy and fun!

En Route To French With Culturefrog, Volume 1 - Songs and Sounds to Accompany Your First Steps in French...
Culturefrog's innovative French classes for children and families are based on a very simple idea: we learn language through listening, doing and having fun.
Our approach to promoting early bilingualism is based on the method we use in our family - two people, with two cultures and two languages, each of them only speaking their own language.
Listen to the dialogues we use in our classes to reinforce words and ideas; join in with the songs and before you know it you'll be en route to French!
You can download both the Song Words and Dialogues in PDF format.
